Several tour groups have visited the Church and School Rooms so far this year, including a group of Americans specialising in Arts and Craft Architecture. Members of the Society head up these tours and it’s not unusual to get a thank you and a word of appreciation regarding the Church architecture and other Edgar Wood building in the Conservation Area.
The following however is special, it is a letter from a Portguese lady who was with the American party. To save embarassment I have blacked out out the recipients name. We know who it is, but it could equally apply to all the volunteers. Click on the below to read the letter.
