The sun shone for the first tour of 2024 of the Middleton Conservation Area and Edgar Wood Buildings led by members of the Edgar Wood Society. Visitors had travelled from Liverpool, Rossendale and Lindley (Huddersfield) as well as others from here in Middleton. I am please to report that they enjoyed the walk and visit to the church. They also enjoyed the homemade cake served at the end of the tour. There will be another guided walk on June 9th at 2pm leaving from the church.
